Jan Murray is a Canadian painter blessed with a home studio on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. Two decades of exploration, and study with several masterful artists, have provided rich fodder for her creative expressions.
She uses a variety of mediums to achieve her loose and expressive contemporary style, with her mainstays being vibrantly coloured inks and acrylics. Nature's rich inspirations inform her abstract and impressionistic paintings. Hiking the trails through the rainforest to the beach provide reverence and wonder for every step of this creative journey. |
